With the newly introduced Bayon, Hyundai adds another nameplate to its India lineup. The Bayon sits between the Venue and Creta in Hyundai’s portfolio. For this comparison, we’ve picked the Bayon’s mid-level HX6 trim and Venue’s top-of-the-line HX10 trim in their respective petrol automatic versions.

Price (Rs lakh) | 14.98 | 14.67 |
The Bayon mid-spec CVT is priced at Rs 14.98 lakh, while the Venue top-end DCT retails slightly lower at Rs 14.67 lakh. Between the two, it's the Venue that we’d pick. Apart from being the more affordable option, the Venue brings a more powerful engine, much more equipment, and safety features. Though the larger Bayon will be more spacious, the Venue still offers a reasonable amount of room, and the feature surplus is hard to ignore. Moreover, the Venue’s city-friendly compact dimensions should help navigate around town more easily.
