EMMA India Corporation has announced that the final leg of the EMMA India Car Audio Competition will be held on October 16 and 17 in Goa at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium. Officially called EMMA India Goa 2024, the event will see participation from car owners with aftermarket sound installations in their cars.

  1. Event in Goa will be the second and final round
  2. First leg of competition happened in Chennai in February

EMMA stands for European Mobile Media Association, a community of mobile media enthusiasts, specialists and entrepreneurs. The organisation conducts competitions and provides a platform for custom-made mobile media installations, specialising in car audio installations.

The inaugural leg of the competition, with nearly 100 participants, was held in Chennai in February this year.

EMMA Judge training, the follow-up to the main competition, will take place on October 19-20, with the curriculum being headed by EMMA International Head Judges. This involves judges explaining what it takes to build and tune an exceptional car audio setup – something of value to installers and tuners looking to improve their craft.

The event in Goa will be headed by EMMA India CEO Karthik Raj, a seasoned professional in the car audio industry and EMMA Global Head Judge. He said, “Our intent is loud and clear. It is to change the car audio and aftermarket industry from an unorganised sector to an organised and professional service sector.”

The registrations for the event will open shortly, and more information about the EMMA India competition, including details from the Chennai event, is available on emma-india.com
