Renault Triber price in Dindigul

₹6.83 - ₹10.58 Lakh
On road price in
EMI starting at ₹9,814 /month

Only one trim in the Renault Triber range comes with the AMT gearbox, and it sits right at the top. The automatic is an exclusive, not a widely available option. The rest of pricing in Dindigul follows the usual pattern. RTO registration, insurance and other charges are added on top of the ex-showroom figure. That is why the same variant costs more in one city than another. The base model, Authentic MT, is Rs. 5.81 lakh ex-showroom in Dindigul, which comes to Rs. 6.83 lakh on-road once those charges are added.

  • Base variant, Authentic MT: Rs. 6.83 lakh on-road in Dindigul

  • Emotion Turbo MT, the top variant with the turbo-petrol engine: Rs. 10.58 lakh on-road

  • The automatic trim carries a premium of roughly Rs. 47,000 over the equivalent Emotion manual, the only point in the range where an automatic exists

The EMI on the base variant, Authentic MT, is Rs. 9,814 against a loan of Rs. 6,10,000. That is a useful anchor before you decide whether a manual or an automatic trim suits your budget. With eight variants spanning nearly Rs. 3.15 lakh on-road, buyers in Dindigul are better off listing their must-have features first. Let that decide the trim, not the sticker price alone.

Renault Triber FAQs

Yes, the top-spec Emotion variant of the Triber is priced well, and it packs a decent list of features. It can also be paired with an AMT gearbox.

In case you want to stick with official accessories at the dealership while buying a Renault Triber, you can consider items such as sunblinds, mud flaps and 15-inch alloy wheels. As per Renault India, these will cost you an extra Rs 12,014 over and above the cost of the car.

The Nissan Gravite has a slightly more affordable base trim, however, the Renault Triber is more accessible at the top end.

Dual-tone exterior paints cost Rs 21,000 extra on top of the Renault Triber ex-showroom price.

Hi Autocar Team, I am planning to buy a seven-seater car. I have test-driven the Renault Triber Turbo and Citroen Aircross X and was impressed by what both offer at their price points. However, the Aircross put a wide smile on my face. As a current Maruti Suzuki user, I did not consider the Ertiga because it feels similar to our Swift. I liked the Aircross X but am sceptical about Citroen's service network and spare parts availability. However, there are three Citroen showrooms within 45 km of my place. Please suggest which car I should choose. My budget: Rs. 15 lakh Current vehicle: Second-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift petrol (2017) Annual usage: Around 10,000 km, with a 50:30:20 split between town, highway and city driving Requirement: A seven-seater car

The Citroen's interiors feel more special, its engine is more powerful, and its ride-handling balance is outstanding; however, for seven adults, it won't be as comfortable as the Triber. In fact, the Triber's superb packaging makes it genuinely comfortable for passengers in all three rows, despite its compact sub-4-meter dimensions. The new turbo-petrol engine makes it an effortless performer, and its ride quality feels very mature too. Moreover, the Triber Turbo is also much more affordable in comparison, making it outstanding value for money. Yes, the Aircross X will appeal to your heart, but given Citroen's limited service network and cramped third row, the Triber Turbo is the more sensible choice.

I already have 2 cars including Celerio automatic and i20 diesel. My family needs a six-seater car and budget is not a problem but we want a car for driving within the city and in this case, parking is the problem. I drive less than 10,000 kilometer annually. I drive with all family members mostly within the city and my entire family is shorter than 5 feet 3 inches. I am thinking of having an i20 for highway riding as four of us usually go out. I am planning to buy Triber turbo for 6 family members within the city and for occasional highway trips rather than buying costly cars like Clavis or HyCross.

Your thinking is absolutely on the right track. Given your usage of less than 10,000 km a year, predominantly city driving with all six on board, and the fact that your family is on the shorter side, the Renault Triber Turbo is actually a very sensible choice. It is compact, easy to park and manoeuvre in the city, and the turbo petrol engine gives it enough punch for occasional highway runs. The sliding second row and flexible seating make it genuinely usable as a six-seater for shorter adults, and it will be far easier to live with in tight parking situations than something like a Clavis or HyCross. The Clavis and HyCross are excellent cars, but they are significantly larger and more expensive, and given your usage pattern, you are unlikely to see the value in that extra spend. Keeping the i20 diesel for highway runs with four people is also a smart move, as it is more comfortable and efficient for longer journeys.

I currently own a used Maruti Ciaz (2025) and am planning to shift to a smaller car since my regular driving is within the city and occasional long highway rides. Is Maruti Suzuki Wagon R ZXI Plus 1.2 a good choice considering Maruti's reliability and easy access to inexpensive spare parts? I do not want to stretch my budget beyond 10 lakh. Alternatively, should I consider Baleno, Glanza or upcoming Renault Triber Turbo?

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R ZXI+ 1.2 is a sensible choice for your requirements. It is compact, easy to drive in the city, and the 1.2-litre engine also gives it enough performance for occasional highway runs. However, coming from a Ciaz, you will notice a significant step down in overall refinement, ride comfort and highway stability. The Wagon R is primarily a city car, and while it can handle highway trips, it does not feel as composed or as comfortable at higher speeds as a larger hatchback.Instead, consider the Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift as it would be a better fit and its smaller car than your Ciaz but you won't be compromising too much on comfort and highway ability. The Baleno is still easy to drive in the city, offers a better ride quality and more stability on highways, and is more refined overall than the Wagon R.The upcoming Renault Triber turbo is an interesting alternative if you need more flexibility with seating and boot space, but it is not as refined or as proven as the Maruti options.Overall, the Baleno would be the more balanced upgrade from a Ciaz.

I have been driving a Renault Triber RXZ AMT for a long time. However, the transmission feels sluggish, and the car feels underpowered. My driving is 80% on highways and 20% in the city, with an annual running of approximately 8,000 km. Safety is a major concern for me. Please suggest the best 7-seater family car options under Rs. 20 lakh.

Given your usage pattern of 80% highway driving, the Renault Triber's limitations are understandable. The AMT gearbox is not the most responsive and the engine does feel underpowered.Go for the Kia Clavis HTK+ Turbo DCT. It is a comfortable, spacious seven-seater which delivers strong performance that you will certainly appreciate on your long drives. The HTK+ is well-equipped too, and the interior feels quite premium too. As far as safety goes, the Clavis is equipped with all standard features like 6 airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, ABS with EBD, etc. Overall, it'll feel like a huge step up over your Renault Triber AMT.

Is the Triber AMT worth buying?

Verified

For the money and size, the facelifted Renault Triber is a good option. It’s compact yet manages to seat seven adults, which is quite a feat of packaging. It rides and handles well, and is easy to manoeuvre in the city, so it works nicely as a family car in urban conditions. The only real issue is the 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is weak and not very refined, and with the AMT, it feels even more so, especially when fully loaded or on inclines. The convenience of the AMT in traffic is good, but it does highlight the lack of performance.A very relevant alternative is the newly launched Nissan Gravite, which is the Nissan version of the Triber. It is a mechanically identical MPV, differing mainly in styling, trim and badge. Crucially, it’s priced very aggressively, so in many cases the Gravite will work out a bit cheaper than the equivalent Triber variant, making it even more attractive if you are value-conscious.However, both the Triber and Gravite make sense primarily if you can’t stretch your budget. If you can, it’s better to step up to a Maruti Ertiga, which is larger, more comfortable, nicer to drive, and backed by Maruti’s service network that’s hard to beat in India.
