Lamborghini Temerario

The Lamborghini Temerario has been launched in India at ₹6 crore (ex-showroom), replacing the Huracan in Lamborghini’s global line-up. Unlike its predecessor’s naturally aspirated V10 engine, the Temerario uses a new plug-in hybrid powertrain built around a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors.

The Lamborghini Temerario combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors to produce a combined output of 920hp. The rear-wheel-mounted V8 alone produces 800hp and revs up to 10,000rpm. The Temerario uses an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive and an 800V hybrid system, enabling a claimed 0-100kph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 343kph.

The Temerario also introduces several firsts for Lamborghini, including drift mode, a two-speed electrified setup and a more comfort-focused cabin. In India, the Lamborghini Temerario rivals the Ferrari 296 GTB and McLaren Artura.
