Vinfast is set to launch its first MPV offering for India in mid-April. This all-electric MPV will be sold under separate names here, specifically ‘Limo Green’ for fleet buyers – this is also the name used in global markets – and ‘MPV7’ for private buyers. The Vinfast MPV7 is expected to take on three-row EVs like the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S, and BYD eMax 7.
- Global-spec Vinfast MPV7 comes with 7-seater layout
- Features include 10.1-inch touchscreen, 4-speaker sound system, etc
- It gets a 60.13kWh battery delivering a 450km claimed range
- Benefits like 75 percent buyback, ICE-to-EV incentive of Rs 2 lakh, free charging, etc
Vinfast MPV7 exterior and interior

On the outside, the MPV7 adopts a similar look to the Vinfast VF6 and VF7, replete with front and rear LED light bars, vertically-oriented headlights, aero-optimised alloy wheels, etc. However, the MPV7 does sport boxier proportions in the interest of maximising interior space.

The global-spec MPV7 (Limo Green) has a seating capacity of up to 7 occupants. Its dashboard layout is quite minimal, with a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen and floating centre console taking prominence. There’s no instrument cluster or digital driver’s display in the global-spec model, but the India-spec model may be fitted with a heads-up display to handle instrumentation duties, much like in the VF6 and VF7.
Features list
In terms of features, the global version of the MPV packs a 4-speaker sound system, electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, steering-mounted controls, and more.
Vinfast MPV7 battery and range
60.13kWh battery with front-mounted motor

In overseas markets, the MPV7 comes equipped with a 60.13kWh battery pack powering a sole front-mounted electric motor. System output is pegged at 204hp and 280Nm, with an NEDC-claimed range of 450km. Using 80kW DC fast charging, the MPV7’s battery can be topped up from 10-70 percent in 30 minutes. Expect similar specs for the India-spec model too.

Vinfast will also extend several benefits towards MPV7 buyers, such as a 75 percent buyback scheme (based on trade-in car's ex-showroom price), a special incentive of Rs 2 lakh for those converting from ICE-powered car, free charging until 2029, and a 10-year warranty. The Vietnamese EV maker also plans to expand its footprint in India by building 75 touchpoints by the end of 2026.
