Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O): what’s new
Changes over the GX variant include the addition of LED fog lamps, rear window demister, automatic climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft-touch dashboard, a rear retractable sunshade (7-seater only), 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay (7-seater only).
Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O): powertrain
Powering the Innova Hycross GX (O) will be the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine making 173hp and 209Nm. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox as standard that sends power to the front wheels.
Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O): pricing and rivals
Toyota is yet to reveal the pricing for the Innova Hycross GX (O), but considering that it packs additional equipment over the GX variant, which is priced between Rs 19.77 lakh-19.82 lakh, we expect it to carry a premium of around Rs 70,000. Meanwhile, the hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross are priced between Rs 25.72 lakh-30.68 lakh.
While the Innova Hycross does not have a direct rival, it faces some competition from three-row SUVs like theMahindra XUV700,Tata SafariandMG Hector Plus.
