Renault is set to add a new ‘Superhero Edition’ to the Kwid range, which will be based on the characters of the blockbuster Marvel series, Avengers. The company will launch the new edition on February 5. The mechanical and technical specifications of the upcoming edition are likely to remain unchanged.

The French carmaker is taking steps to ramp up the sales of its best-selling model, which has been underperforming for quite some time. The sales of the Kwid went down 21 percent in December 2017 when the company sold 6,953 units as against 8,797 units in the same period a year ago.

Since its launch in September 2017, Renault has made several efforts to spice up the Kwid range by adding two new iterations - Kwid 1.0 and Kwid AMT and special editions like the Kwid Climber and the recently launched Kwid Live for more.
