Porsche has revealed the 911 GT3 Earls Court 51 Edition, a limited-run model created to celebrate 75 years of Porsche in the UK. Developed by Porsche Cars GB and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the special edition is based on the 911 GT3 Touring and will be limited to 51 units. Inspired by the Porsche 356 displayed at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show in London, the car gets unique styling details and a bespoke interior.

  1. New Earls Court Green paint created exclusively for the special edition
  2. Bespoke interior inspired by the original Porsche 356
  3. Available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed ‘PDK’ dual-clutch automatic gearbox

The Earls Court 51 Edition is based on the wingless 911 GT3 Touring, chosen for its closer visual link to the original 356. It is finished in a new Earls Court Green metallic paint shade developed specifically for this model through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus programme. The colour is inspired by one of the first 356 coupes displayed at Earls Court in 1951.

Other exterior changes include silver mirror caps, door handles and a bonnet stripe. The 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels get a two-tone green and silver finish, while bespoke Earls Court 51 badges feature on the grille and B-pillars.

Inside, the cabin combines green and beige leather with corduroy upholstery inspired by the original 356. The seats feature green piping, while wood trim is used on the dashboard, doors, centre console and seat backs. A wooden gear lever is fitted to manual-transmission cars.

Special details include Earls Court 51 logos on the headrests, an embossed Union Jack motif on the sun visors and a 356 silhouette embossed into the dashboard trim.

No mechanical changes have been made. Power comes from the standard GT3’s naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine producing 510hp. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox and Porsche’s 7-speed ‘PDK’ dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Porsche claims a 0-100kph time of 3.9 seconds for the manual version and 3.4 seconds for the PDK. Top speed stands at 312kph for the manual and 311kph for the PDK.

The Earls Court 51 Edition is priced from GBP 251,951 (around Rs 2.9 crore) and will make its public debut at the Icons of Porsche: Sunstede Silverstone Edition event on June 20-21.
