    • Engine options include a 2.0-litre diesel, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid tech
    • A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard though the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol can be had with a 6-speed dual-clutch auto

    The MG Hector Plus that got its first showing at Auto Expo 2020 is now on sale in India. Prices for the 6-seat, 3-row derivative of the MG Hector start at Rs 13.49 lakh and top off at Rs 18.54 lakh. What does the Hector Plus range look like? Read on to know.

    MG Hector Plus engines and gearbox options

    The Hector Plus shares its engines and gearboxes with the standard Hector. On offer is a 170hp/350Nm, 2.0-litre diesel that comes with a 6-speed manual transmission; a 143hp/250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol that can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch auto; and a 143hp/250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid tech that’s on offer solely with a 6-speed manual.

    MG Hector Plus variants

    The Hector Plus is available in four trim levels – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. Notably, only the Hector Plus diesel is available in all four trim levels. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with a manual can be had only in base Style trim, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with a DCT is on offer in Smart and Sharp form, while the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid is available only the in the fully-loaded Sharp trim.
