Mercedes-Benz expands CLA India lineup with new 200 Standard Range variant

The CLA 200 Standard Range has been introduced following customer feedback seeking an additional variant with a shorter driving range and a potentially lower price point.

Mercedes-Benz said the new variant will have a tentative ex-showroom price of Rs 55 lakh, while the CLA 250+ Long Range is expected to be priced around Rs 59 lakh. Final prices will depend on foreign exchange rates at the time of launch, scheduled for mid-April 2026.

Despite the difference in range, equipment levels between the two variants are largely similar. The CLA 250+ Long Range gets the AMG Line styling package as standard, while the CLA 200 Standard Range features ‘Progressive Line’ styling, along with comfort seats, a multifunction sports leather steering wheel and two trim options.
