Lamborghini, who recently launched the Huracan Tecnica in India, has hinted that another Huracan model will be globally unveiled by the end of 2022.

    • Urus Performante could launch in India in next couple of months
    • Huracan Sterrato was teased last month

During a presentation at the Huracan Tecnica India launch, Lamborghini was tight-lipped about which supercar it will launch globally in December 2022, but we expect it to be the Huracan Sterrato that was teased last month. The off-road supercar is nearing production and it may have its global unveiling in December. It is expected to arrive in India a few months after its global debut as the Huracan Tecnica also had a gap of four months between its global and India launch.

The Huracan Sterrato is expected to have the same 640hp, 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine from the Huracan Evo that’s mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. To make it off-road ready, Lamborghini will give it a tweaked suspension with raised ride height and chunky tyres on the 20-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, it will also add auxiliary lamps on the front bumper, bolt-on plastic cladding on the front and rear fenders and the side skirts, roof rails, a new diffuser and a roof-mounted air scoop.

Moreover, Lamborghini India also showed the Urus Performante as one of its upcoming products, which is expected to launch here in the coming months as the previous Urus was also launched in India in 2018 a month after its global unveiling
