JSW Motors is preparing to introduce a series of new energy vehicles (NEVs), including battery electric and plug-in hybrid models, starting with the Diwali debut of its T2-based SUV. And ahead of that, the passenger vehicle division of the JSW Group has partnered with French software company Dassault Systemes, which will build virtual twins of these cars. As part of this collaboration, JSW will use Dassault’s 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA platform as the core digital backbone for the entire range of its upcoming NEVs.

“By building virtual twins of their products and processes, we will help drive greater innovation, efficiency and agility, ensuring scalability and sustained competitiveness in a rapidly evolving market,” said Deepak NG, managing director, India, Dassault Systemes. “Our 3DEXPERIENCE platform will empower JSW Motors to manage the growing complexity of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) while enabling end-to-end integration across their entire value chain, from design and engineering to manufacturing and lifecycle management,” he added.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform will help bring design, engineering and testing under one system. JSW is also setting up a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) on the same platform to improve production tracking.
Commenting on the collaboration, Ranjan Nayak, CEO, JSW Motors Limited, said, “We are delighted to partner with Dassault Systemes to embed its... digital platform across the vehicle lifecycle, from design to manufacturing...
