    Discounts of up to Rs 2.2 lakh on Toyota Corolla Altis, Fortuner, Innova

    Avail up to Rs 1.5 lakh worth of benefits on the Fortuner this month.

    For the month of October, select Toyota dealerships are offering large benefits on a number of models from the carmaker’s portfolio. The current economic slowdown, coupled with upcoming BS6 emission norms, have prompted several manufacturers to offer discounts and benefits in a bid to clear old stock and drive up sales. Read on to see how much you can save on the purchase of a Toyota car or SUV this month.

    Toyota Corolla Altis  

    Save up to Rs 2.20 lakh
    The Toyota Corolla Altis rivals the likes of the Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia and recently launched Hyundai Elantra facelift. However, it is now the oldest competitor in the executive sedan space. The Altis is powered by either a 140hp, 1.8-litre petrol or an 88hp, 1.4-litre diesel engine. Both engines come paired with a 6-speed manual as standard though the petrol also gets a 7-step CVT auto as an option. Buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 2.2 lakh on the Corolla Altis this month.

    Toyota Yaris   

    Save up to Rs 1.62 lakh
    Toyota updated the Yaris  recently, with new variants that brought down prices by Rs 64,000. Still, the midsize sedan sells in much less numbers than its competitors – the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the Honda City. The Yaris comes with a solitary 107hp, 1.5-litre petrol unit that’s coupled with either a manual or a CVT gearbox. Currently, dealerships are offering discounts up to Rs 1.62 lakh on the pre-update Yaris, depending on the variant. Meanwhile, the newer version can be had with benefits up to Rs 55,000. 

    Toyota Fortuner

    Save up to Rs 1.50 lakh
    The Fortuner has been one of Toyota’s bestselling models in India and rivals the like of the Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and the Isuzu MU-X. Engine options available with this big, seven-seater SUV is a 177hp, 2.8-litre diesel and a 166hp, 2.7-litre petrol engine, both of which can be had with automatic or manual transmission options. Buyers can avail total benefits of up to Rs 1.50 lakh on the Toyota Fortuner this month.  

    Toyota Innova Crysta                  

    Save up to Rs 1.05 lakh
    Toyota’s most popular model, the Innova Crysta, can be had with large benefits of Rs 1.05 lakh. The MPV is in a segment of its own, as it’s priced much higher than its competitors like the Maruti Ertiga and the Mahindra Marazzo. However, it stills remains one of the highest-selling MPVs in the segment. Engine options for the Crysta include a 166hp, 2.7-litre petrol engine, a 150hp, 2.4-litre diesel motor and a 174hp, 2.8-litre diesel engine.

    Toyota Etios Cross

    Save up to Rs 58,000
    The Etios Cross is the more rugged version of the Etios Liva hatchback and rivals the likes of the Hyundai i20 Active and the Ford Freestyle. It is available with three engine options – a 90hp, 1.5-litre petrol; an 80hp, 1.2-litre petrol; and a 68hp, 1.4-litre diesel engine – all of which come paired with a 5-speed manual. Dealerships are offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 58,000 on the Etios Cross during October.

    Toyota Glanza                     

    Save up to Rs 45,000
    The Toyota Glanza is the first car to come out of the Maruti-Toyota alliance and shares its engines and gearboxes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. However, unlike the Baleno, the Glanza can be had in a petrol guise only – with the standard 83hp, 1.2-litre K12M engine or Maruti's new 90hp, 1.2-litre K12N Dualjet motor with a mild-hybrid system. The Honda Jazz and Hyundai i20 rival can be had with benefits of up to Rs 45,000 during this month. Toyota also recently introduced a new base Glanza G MT at Rs 6.98 lakh.

    Toyota Etios/Liva

    Save up to Rs 38,000
    The Toyota Etios and Liva have been on sale for a while now and due to newer competitors, sales have slowed down significantly. However, they both have a spacious cabin and are known for their reliability. Engine options for the Etios sedan include a 90hp, 1.5-litre petrol and a 68hp, 1.4-litre diesel engine, the latter of which is shared with the hatchback. The Liva also gets the option of an 80hp, 1.2-litre petrol. Both models are available with benefits of up to Rs 38,000 for this month.
