Audi A4 gets more features, new colour options

    Updated luxury sedan's top-spec trim gets a new flat-bottom steering wheel.

    Audi has updated its entry-level luxury sedan, the A4, with new colours and features. Launched in January 2021, the A4 continues to be offered in three trims – Premium, Premium Plus, and Technology.

    What's interesting to note is that while the prices for Premium (Rs 43.12 lakh) and Premium Plus (Rs 47.27 lakh) remain unchanged, the Technology trim sees a price increase of Rs 1.02 lakh, now priced at Rs 50.99 lakh.

    Updated Audi A4: new features

    All trims of the A4 now get two new colour schemes – Tango Red and Manhattan Gray. The top-spec Technology trim also gets a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a 19-speaker, B&O premium sound system.

    Other features on the top-spec Audi A4 include a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit display, an electric glass sunroof, wireless charging, leather and leatherette upholstery, 30-colour ambient lighting, three-zone auto climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.

    Updated Audi A4: powertrain

    The Audi A4 continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 190hp and 320Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard, with power going to the front wheels only. The A4 does the 0-100kph sprint in a claimed 7.3sec and is said to have a top speed of 241kph.

    The updated Audi A4 (Rs 43.12 lakh-50.99 lakh) competes with other luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Rs 55 lakh-61 lakh) and the BMW 3 Series (Rs 46.90 lakh- 52.90 lakh). The A4's pricing makes it the most affordable luxury sedan on sale.
