    Toyota has announced the prices for the Yaris sedan in India, which takes on the likes of the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Ciaz.  Toyota dealers are now officially accepting bookings for the Yaris sedan, with deliveries slated to begin sometime in the second-half of May.

    The Yaris is available in India in four variants with an option of a manual or a CVT gearbox offered in all of them. Power comes from a single 1.5-litre petrol motor good for 107hp.  Here’s how the Yaris stacks up against its rivals as far as pricing goes.

    Complete pricing (ex-showroom, India) and variant breakup for the Toyota Yaris are as follows:

    Toyota Yaris J (MT: Rs 8.75 lakh / CVT: Rs 9.95 lakh)
