Italian marque Lamborghini has revealed its quickest and most powerful model yet - the Fenomeno. Based on the Revuelto flagship, only 29 track-honed Fenomeno hypercars will be built, each priced at 3 million pounds (or over Rs 35.59 crore). All of them are sold out.

  1. As per Lambo tradition, the name Fenomeno comes from a bull
  2. Fenomeno means phenomenal, in both Italian and Spanish

Being the latest 'Few Off' - Lamborghini's special vehicles programme - the Fenomeno follows revered nameplates including Reventon, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sian FKP 37 and Countach LPI 800-4.

Lamborghini Fenomeno exterior design

Borrows design cues from Temerario, Countach and Essenza SCV12

The Fenomeno is a "tribute to the original Lamborghini Countach and the beginning of the era of supercars", CEO Stephan Winkelmann told our sister publication Autocar UK. The new Lamborghini combines a low, taut front with racing-inspired intakes, an S-duct that pushes air over the roof, and DRLs shaped like the Lamborghini logo’s bull.

A long tail line in profile recalls the Essenza SCV12, while fins and air ducts feed the side intakes, enhancing cooling efficiency by over 30 percent compared to a series-production Lamborghini V12 model. Single-nut forged rims, 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear, round off the section.

At the rear, Y-shaped lights flank a hexagonal exhaust terminal in the centre, similar to the Lamborghini Temerario. The active wing maximises vehicle stability at high speed, along with an aero-optimised diffuser. Compared to the Revuelto, Sant'Agata engineers managed to achieve the same dry 1,772kg weight, despite the Fenomeno's bigger dimensions - length and height to be precise.

Lamborghini Fenomeno interior and features

9.1-inch touchscreen in portrait orientation, button-clad steering wheel

Carbon fibre dominates inside, too, from the centre console and door panels to the bucket seats and 3D-printed air vents in the dashboard. Fenomeno’s cabin has three digital screens - a 12.3-inch driver’s display, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 9.1-inch (estimated) passenger unit - that replace most physical buttons. That said, the race steering wheel is heavily button-clad. Personalisation comes via the Ad Personam program, offering virtually unlimited interior colours.

Lamborghini Fenomeno technical specs

6.5L V12 NA engine + e-motors; 0-100kph: 2.4 seconds, 0-200kph: 6.7 seconds

Like the Lamborghini Revuelto plug-in hybrid vehicle, the Fenomeno has a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine and 3 electric motors - two at the front and one in the gearbox. The hybrid system's combined 1,080hp output, which is 65hp more than the Revuelto, is channelled to all 4 wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 0-100kph is done in just 2.4 seconds, maxing out at a top speed north of 350kph. Those make the Fenomeno the most powerful and fastest Lamborghini to date.

On the ICE side of things, the improved performance is courtesy of a redesigned valvetrain, while the permanent magnet e-motors source juice from a bigger 7kWh lithium-ion battery with a higher discharge rate.
