The Maruti Ertiga has become the latest model in the carmaker’s line-up to feature six airbags as standard, following the Wagon R, Brezza, Baleno and others. India’s bestselling MPV (in the last financial year) also gets new features with the 2025 update, and the ex-showroom prices have increased slightly, ranging from Rs 9.11 lakh to Rs 13.40 lakh. This comes after Maruti Suzuki chairman R C Bhargava confirmed in April that six airbags will become a standard safety feature in all its passenger vehicles by this year’s end.

2025 Maruti Suzuki Eritga: what's new?
New AC vents, fast charging USB Type C ports
Save for a new roof spoiler, no other changes have been made to the Ertiga’s exterior. But when it comes to the interior, AC vents behind the front passenger armrest replace the roof-mounted blower unit in the second row. Interestingly, the AC on/off switch sits on the dashboard’s right side, so only the driver can control it. Passengers seated here can also make use of two new Type-C charging ports to juice up their devices; the middle seat now gets a headrest, too. As for the third row, two vents along with twin Type-C charging ports have been added.

No changes under the hood
Maruti has made no changes to the Ertiga’s powertrains, including the 103hp 1.5-litre petrol and the 89hp CNG. This also means that the Ertiga petrol’s 20.51kpl (MT) and 20.30kpl (AT) mileage figures are unchanged, just like the CNG’s 26.11km/kg.
