But in the current fiscal, the XUV 3XO’s sales ranking has dropped two spots to fourth, behind the Scorpio N and Classic (102,514 units), the Thar and Thar Roxx (71,351 units) and the Bolero (57,512 units). After the first seven months of FY2025, the 3XO accounts for 15 percent of Mahindra SUV sales, down from 20 percent in the same period last year.
It remains to be seen whether Mahindra’s answer to the likes of the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue can carry its sales momentum witnessed in the festive season, helped along by the revised GST rates on cars, through the remaining months of this fiscal.
