Hyundai recently launched the Grand i10 Nios facelift in India and has priced it between Rs 5.69 lakh to Rs 8.47 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The updated hatchback gets reprofiled front and rear fascia, new upholstery on the inside and some important additions to the equipment list. Here, we take a close look at what features are being offered in each individual trim.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: engine, variants explained
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is offered in four trims – Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. All four trims come with a sole 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The manual gearbox is standard across the range, while the AMT gearbox is offered on all but the base E trim.
As before, Hyundai is also offering a factory-fitted CNG kit on the Grand i10 Nios. In CNG-spec, the Nios is only offered with the manual gearbox that comes in the mid-spec Sportz and Asta trims.

The facelifted Grand i10 Nios takes on other hatchbacks like the Tata Tiago (Rs 5.45 lakh-7.90 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Swift (Rs 5.92 lakh-8.71 lakh) and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis (Rs 5.55 lakh-7.87 lakh) in the market.
