Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Expert Review

The Meteor 350 sticks to its familiar cruiser formula and the 2025 update focuses on improving convenience rather than changing the design. The LED headlamp is now standard across the range, while the Tripper navigation display and USB-C charging port add a little more everyday usability. Build quality and finish remain in line with what buyers have come to expect from Royal Enfield's J-series motorcycles.

The low 765mm seat height makes the Meteor approachable for a wide range of riders, and the feet-forward riding position gives it a relaxed cruiser feel. The suspension continues to absorb more of the road than you might expect from a motorcycle of this type. That said, outright comfort is not quite at the level of the Classic 350 or Bullet 350 due to the riding position.

The Meteor 350 is powered by the same 349cc engine. The motor feels happiest at city speeds and is most enjoyable while cruising between 70-80kph, although it can comfortably hold 90-100kph without feeling strained. Riders looking for outright performance may want more, but that's never been the Meteor's purpose.

Despite its 191kg kerb weight, the Meteor 350 feels manageable in traffic. The chassis offers reassuring stability while retaining enough nimbleness for everyday riding. The suspension setup strikes a good balance for Indian roads, and the motorcycle feels easy-going and predictable. Braking performance from the front brake remains fairly dull, although the overall system works effectively when combined with the rear brake and dual-channel ABS.

The 2025 update brings standard LED lighting, Tripper navigation, a USB-C charging port and a slip/assist clutch. Higher variants also receive adjustable levers. Dual-channel ABS continues to be offered as standard.

The updated Meteor 350 remains one of the most appealing motorcycles in its segment. The changes may be small, but the lighter clutch noticeably improves the riding experience.
