We just had information about the updated Meteor 350 reaching dealerships and Royal Enfield has sent out word that it has officially launched. The bike recieves a host of updates and with the new GST rates, is more affordable than before.

Main changes include LED lighting, slipper clutch, new colour schemes.

The most notable updates include LED headlamps and LED indicators, which replace the halogen units on the Fireball and Stellar variants. The bike gets seven new colour schemes across the four variants on offer. The Fireball variant gets Orange and Grey, Stellar gets Matte Grey and Marine Blue, Aurora gets Retro Green and Red, and Supernova gets one shade; Black.

Perhaps the most significant mechanical change is the addition of a slipper clutch, which has been long overdue. Apart from these upgrades, the Meteor 350 gets the same 349cc, single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 hp and 27 Nm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The chassis, suspension, and braking setup remain unchanged.
 
The Fireball and Stellar variants now get LED headlamps and the Tripper navigation pod as
standard while the Meteor 350 Supernova and Aurora variants come with adjustable levers as a standard.

With the new GST rates announced, the bike has become more affordable despite the addition of updates. Earlier, the Meteor 350 started at Rs 2.08 lakh and went up to Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom prices).

Revised pricing starts at Rs 1.96 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.16 lakh, making the top variant almost Rs 15,000 more affordable.
