The Hero Xtreme 160R stands out with its sharp and modern styling, giving it a sporty look that is different from most motorcycles in its segment. The muscular fuel tank, LED lighting and compact proportions help it attract attention on the road. While the overall design is impressive, the quality of some parts could have been better. The switchgear feels acceptable, but certain panels and finishes do not match the high standards set by some of its rivals. Overall, the motorcycle offers a fresh design with a few compromises in finish quality.

The Xtreme 160R provides a comfortable and upright riding position that suits daily commuting as well as occasional long rides. The well-padded single-piece seat offers good support, while the light weight and compact dimensions make the motorcycle easy to manage in traffic. The ergonomics feel natural, allowing riders to spend long hours in the saddle without feeling tired. Its comfortable riding position also makes it friendly for new riders.

The 163cc engine is tuned more for smooth everyday performance than outright speed. It delivers good low- and mid-range performance, making the bike quick and responsive in city traffic. However, the instrument console is quite basic compared to some competitors. Safety features include single-channel ABS, which provides added confidence during braking.
