Yezdi Roadster to receive a design refresh

Likely to remain mechanically unchanged

Yezdi appears to be preparing an updated version of the Roadster, with a test mule spotted recently ahead of a potential launch on August 12. This marks the first major refresh for the bike since its debut in early 2022.

From what can be seen, the bike features several noticeable design revisions. It now gets a swingarm-mounted rear number plate holder, a chopped rear fender, and redesigned tail-lamp and indicators. The pillion seat also appears noticeably smaller, hinting at a shift toward a more bobber/cruiser-esque styling.

Yezdi Roadster engine details

Will carry the same Alpha 2, 334cc engine

Though no mechanical changes have been confirmed, it’s likely that the bike will continue with the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 29hp and 29.4Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox – although with similar improvements to performance and refinement that have already been seen on the Jawa 42 FJ and Yezdi Adventure.

Further details will be revealed at Classic Legends’ official event on August 12.
