Updated Yamaha Ray-ZR and Fascino launched
Yamaha India has updated its 125cc hybrid scooter range – the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid – with updates to their ISG system, dash and refreshed colour options for 2025, at starting prices of Rs 79,340 and Rs 80,750, respectively.
  1. Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid get updated features
  2. New Enhanced Power Assist, the brand claims, improves acceleration and load-carrying ability
  3. Fascino S now gets a TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation via the Y-Connect app

Fascino and Ray ZR get new colours

ISG gets an update with Enhanced Power Assist

The big update is Yamaha’s new ‘Enhanced Power Assist’ system, which the brand claims delivers stronger acceleration, especially from a standstill, on inclines or when carrying a pillion. However, the brand doesn’t claim any power gain compared to the earlier model. The setup is powered by a high-performance battery and is paired with the brand’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) tech, silent start and Stop & Start system for improved fuel efficiency and refinement.

The top-spec Fascino S variant now comes with a colour TFT instrument cluster, offering turn-by-turn navigation via the Y-Connect smartphone app. The system integrates Google Maps and displays real-time directions, intersection alerts and road names.

New colours across the range

The Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid is now offered in Matte Grey; while its disc-brake variant gets a Metallic Light Green finish, the drum-brake variant comes in Metallic White. The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid is available in Matte Grey Metallic, and the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid disc variant can be had in a Silver White Cocktail shade.

The updated range starts with the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid at Rs 79,340, which costs Rs 1,410 less than Rs 80,750 for the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid costs Rs 92,970, and the Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid Rs 95,850. Topping the range is the Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid with the new TFT display and turn-by-turn navigation, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh, about Rs 6,000 more than the standard Fascino S.
