Suzuki India is all set to launch the updated Burgman Street in India, going by the teaser it released on social media. As per the video, the updated scooter will receive a 12-inch rear wheel, silent start system, engine start-stop and some tweaks for improved fuel efficiency.

The 12-inch rear wheel, to begin with, is said to improve stability and besides that, will also make the scooter appear more proportionate – currently gets a 10-inch wheel. The engine start-stop system, meanwhile, is expected to help bump fuel economy. Besides these changes, we also expect Suzuki to introduce new colourways and a bigger pillion grab rail that doubles up as a luggage rack.

It must be noted that these updates are already present on the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX sold in the UK, and the updated Indian model may get the EX suffix as well.

As for the output figures, the scooter is likely to get the same 8.7hp, 10Nm, 125cc engine.
