Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 details
The 200cc engine now produces 25.5hp, up 1hp
The updated Pulsar NS200 now gets a bi-directional quickshifter, a ride-by-wire throttle that enables ride modes and a new 5-inch TFT display with Google Maps mirroring that replaces the existing LCD unit. This update also brings traction control, adjustable levers, panic brake alert, a USB Type-C port and a hazard switch. The mechanical changes include a new thicker 37mm USD fork replacing the 33mm unit, along with a radial rear tyre.
Other than the aforementioned changes, the motorcycle retains its perimeter frame, box-section swingarm and monoshock at the rear. The 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is also retained, but it now produces 25.5hp, 1hp more than before, and 18.7Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The updated NS200 is offered in three colours: Ebony Black Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White and a new Nardo Grey.
Priced at Rs 1.60 lakh, the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 costs Rs 11,000 more than the USD fork variant below it (Rs 1.49 lakh). At this price, the Pulsar NS200 commands a slight premium over its main competitor, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, which ranges from Rs 1.48 lakh to Rs 1.49 lakh.
All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
