Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, exports to Europe

Ultraviolette Automotive has flagged off the exports of the first batch of its Made-in-India F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycles to European Union (EU) markets. The event was led by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy, and Karnataka's Minister of Industries and Commerce, MB Patil, at Ultraviolette's manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.

Kumaraswamy emphasised that Ultraviolette’s entry into the European market represents a key moment for India's automotive industry, showcasing the country's capability to compete on a global level. He noted that this initiative aligns with the government's vision of positioning India as a significant player in the global electric vehicle (EV) sector. Patil acknowledged that Ultraviolette is a strong contributor to Karnataka’s journey toward sustainable growth and technological advancement.

Narayan Subramaniam, co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette, shared his thoughts on the company's expansion into the European market. He expressed that exporting the F77 Mach 2 is a step towards introducing Indian-developed electric vehicle technology to international markets.

Niraj Rajmohan, co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, mentioned that Europe is a key region for electric mobility, and Ultraviolette aims to demonstrate the capabilities of Indian EVs through the F77 Mach 2. In the coming years, Ultraviolette aims to establish a presence in the global electric vehicle market with the F77 Mach 2 and its subsequent products.
