TVS Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition launched at Rs 44,764

The TVS Scooty Pep has been around for 25 years now, and to celebrate the milestone, the manufacturer has launched the scooter in two new matte colours – Coral Matte and Aqua Matte. Apart from the colours, the scooters also sport a 3D emblem, different graphics and a textured seat, taking the price up to Rs 44,764 – the same as the Babelicious Series and Rs 1,500 more than the standard colours, which cost Rs 43,264. 

Including the two new colour schemes, the Scooty Pep Plus is now available in 9 colour schemes – Revving Red, Glittery Gold, Nero Brown, Frosted Black, Nero Blue and Vivacious Purple, along with Princess Pink, which was introduced with the Babelicious Series). 

Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged and is powered by one of the smallest engines in our market – an 87.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 4.9hp and 5.8 Nm of torque. It also offers practical features like a USB port, side-stand alarm and a glove box.
