Triumph has expanded its Street Triple 765 line-up with two track-focused variants that build on the RS platform with premium components and more aggressive ergonomics. The RX will be available for one year only, while the Moto2 Edition will be limited to 1,000 units and celebrates the brand’s role as the engine supplier to the Moto2 World Championship.

Triumph Street Triple 765 RX and Moto 2 details

Get higher spec components and more focused ergonomics

Firstly, both models are based on the Street Triple RS platform, meaning they use the same 765cc liquid-cooled inline-triple, producing 130hp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of torque at 9,500rpm. Both bikes feature a bi-directional quickshifter as standard and are shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres.

Both bikes also feature a fully adjustable 41mm Öhlins NIX30 USD fork and retain the Öhlins STX40 monoshock at the rear. Triumph has also added a clip-on handlebar to create a more aggressive riding position compared to the standard handlebars. Braking hardware consists of twin 310mm floating discs gripped by Brembo Stylema four-piston monobloc calipers at the front and a 220mm rear disc.

Triumph Street Triple 765 RX and Moto2 Edition unveiled

The Street Triple 765 RX is finished in a silver base colour complemented by a red subframe and pinstriped wheels. It also gets an RX logo on the silencer and an RX-branded seat. The Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition, which Triumph calls the most exclusive Street Triple ever built, takes things further with extensive carbon-fibre components, including the side panels, belly pan, front mudguard and silencer end cap.

Triumph hasn’t confirmed whether any units will be earmarked for India, but given that the limited-run Speed Triple 1200 RX did make it here earlier this year, there’s a good chance a few examples of this Street Triple RX could arrive as well.
