Since Suzuki Motorcycle India began selling the Hayabusa, first as an import and then as a locally assembled motorcycle from its Gurugram plant, cumulative sales of the performance bike, as per SIAM's wholesales data, are 2,400 units.

The 511 units sold in FY2025 are 213 units more than those sold in FY2024, accounting for a 71 percent YoY growth. Priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the MY2025 Hayabusa is now available at select Suzuki big bike dealers across India.

The 511-unit sales has ensured that the Suzuki Hayabusa leads the 1,000-1,600cc motorcycle segment in FY2025, as it did in FY2024. This gives it a 57 percent share of the segment, a 10 percent increase over FY2024.

Three Triumph motorcycles – Bonneville T120, Bobber and Speedmaster – took the second spot with combined sales of 208 units; up 28 percent, with a 23 percent market share in FY2025. The Harley-Davidson Sportster S and Pan America 1250 Special together sold 119 units, up 11 percent YoY, and the 998cc Kawasaki Ninjas sold 61 units, three less than they did in FY2024.
