Suzuki has just launched an alloy-wheel version of the drum brake Access 125, at Rs 59,891. Prior to this, only the disc brake-equipped Access featured alloy wheels, while the drum brake scooter came with sheet-metal wheels and was priced at Rs 57,909 – Rs 1,982 less than the new variant. A month ago, Suzuki launched the Access 125 SE, which featured minor cosmetic updates and the addition of a few features but was only available in the top-spec, disc-brake-equipped variant. Now, the special edition is also available on the drum brake variant and is priced at Rs 61,590.

This new Suzuki Access 125 is available in four colour schemes – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Pearl Mirage White. Meanwhile, the SE variant is available in Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White. The extra money spent on the SE will get you a coloured seat, a special-edition badge and black alloy wheels. A set of chrome mirrors also set it apart from the regular Access 125. Suzuki has also added a DC socket as standard fitment, which will make it convenient to charge mobile phones while on the move. The same is available as an option with the other Access 125 variants.

The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by an 8.7hp/10.2Nm, 124cc single-cylinder engine that gives it a good balance between power and practicality, and it is one of the manufacturer's most popular models in the country.
