Simple expands showroom network across India

Arrive family e-scooter likely to boost mass appeal

Simple Energy recently boosted its retail sales network across the country by opening showrooms in Delhi, Nashik, Aurangabad and Siliguri. Of these, two were in Delhi, with service centres either attached to the showrooms or in close proximity to them.

As of today, Simple has two models on sale: the flagship One and the lower-spec One S. Both are available in two variants, with the main difference being the battery capacity and, consequently, the range on offer. The One is available with a choice of 4.5kWh and 5kWh battery packs, and the One S comes with a 3.7kWh or a 5kWh unit.

We also saw Simple’s Arrive family electric scooter out on test recently, and it should launch in the coming months. The Arrive is likely to cost less than the One models, which start at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and is expected to have a more mainstream appeal with added practicality compared to the One.

Currently, Simple Energy has a total of 68 showrooms across 38 cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and Chennai, among others. The company says that it also plans to expand to Nagpur, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar and other locations in the coming months.
