Simple, the Bengaluru-based startup, recently launched the updated OneS and One range. Now, the brand is testing its family-centric scooter that could be launched in the months to come. We have also learnt that this family-centric scooter will be named ‘Arrive’. Here are all the things we can deduce from the images.
1. Simple Arrive gets a more conventional design compared to the One
2. Gets twin-shock absorbers and drum brake at the rear
3. The Arrive comes with a single-piece seat and a centre stand
Simple family-scooter: What to expect?
Upon launch, the Arrive could rival the Ather Rizta and TVS iQube
The design of the Arrive hints at a departure from the One’s sharp and angular bodywork. It is in-line with conventional, family-centric EVs that the brand aims to take on, namely the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
The differences between the One range and the Arrive are quite apparent with the latter getting a twin-shock absorber setup, a flat single-piece seat, centre-stand and a shroud on the right side of the motor.

The headlight is mounted on the apron along with a short wind-deflector above it. In contrast, The taillight seems to be a thin-strip, similar to the TVS Orbiter and Ather Rizta. The scooter also gets a storage cubby and a TFT dash.

The Simple One range including the more-affordable One S comes with a disc setup at both ends, whereas the Arrive comes with a drum at the rear and continues with a disc at the front. The Arrive continues to run on the same wheels as the One, the wheel size too is likely to be unchanged. For reference, the Simple One runs on a 12-inch (F/R) setup.
