The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been spotted testing once again, with one important new detail this time around. All previous test mules of the Hunter have been seen equipped with alloy wheels, but in this latest sighting, we can see two test units rolling on wire-spoke wheels.
This suggests that the Hunter 350 could be offered in different trim levels, with certain variants getting alloy wheels while others get equipped with wire-spoke units. Royal Enfield already adopts this approach with the Classic 350, whose Dark variant comes with alloys while all other versions get wire-spoke wheels.
The Hunter 350 will be powered by the recently introduced 349cc J-platform engine that currently powers the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Since the Bullet 350 was also recently spotted testing with this motor, the Hunter will make it four different models to be powered by this engine.
Aside from the wheels, these test mules appear quite similar to Hunter test units seen in the past. Unchanged details include the round headlight and mirrors, a rounded fuel tank, and a single-piece seat. The bike is sprung by a conventional telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, and the overall look is that of a retro naked roadster with a hint of scrambler thrown in as well.
Many test mules of this motorcycle have been sighted over quite a long period of time, so the Hunter should be nearing the end of its testing cycle soon. You can expect an official launch sometime before the end of this year.
