Norton V4 superbike India launch this year

TVS is gearing up to launch the Norton brand in India by the end of 2025. A company spokesperson has confirmed to us that the brand will debut with two motorcycles, one of which will be a flagship superbike.

Norton V4 CR was showcased at Auto Expo 2025 

We have learned from sources that the company is working on a motorcycle internally codenamed B110, which will use a 4-cylinder, 1200cc engine. Responding to queries sent by our sister publication, Autocar Professional, a TVS spokesperson confirmed that the company will be setting up a differentiated sales channel for the Norton brand in India. “Two exciting models will be launched towards the end of this year, including a flagship superbike. We are in advanced stages of preparing to launch them into the market. As we gear up for this exciting offering, our efforts will be focused towards delivering differentiated retail experiences that reflect the brand’s philosophy of ‘Design, Dynamism, and Detail’. A differentiated channel is in the works, and more details will be revealed in due course."

While the company has not clearly stated what this flagship superbike is, it will either be the fully faired Norton V4 SV or the naked V4 CR. While the term ‘flagship superbike' would suggest that the SV is the bike in question, it was actually the cafe-racer-style V4 CR that was on display at the TVS stand at the Auto Expo 2025.

Both these bikes are ultra-premium motorcycles, positioned above the competition from Italian manufacturers like Ducati. They’re powered by a 1200cc V4 engine that produces 185hp at 12,000rpm and 125 Nm at 9,000rpm. Both use high-end aluminium chassis with CNC billet-aluminium swingarms and have high-spec Ohlins and Brembo cycle parts. 

Priced upwards of 42,000 Euros, these bikes will likely be very expensive, but they will also benefit from the recently announced Free Trade Agreement between India and the UK. Moreover, TVS is already working on localised content for all Norton products, so it will be interesting to see what synergies the company can put in place when it comes to competitive pricing. 

Either way, Norton’s V4 is an uber premium, high-performance platform, and it will not come cheap. The story could be different for the second product that will debut alongside it. We have already reported that TVS is working on all-new single and twin-cylinder midsize motorcycles under the Norton banner, and we could see one of these debut later this year. 

Norton has a total of six new products planned over the next three years, and there are exciting things to look forward to from this company.
