KTM prices likely to increase from June 1

KTM India could revise prices across most of its motorcycle line-up from June 1, according to dealer sources. Reports suggest the revision will span a wide range of models, from the recently launched 160 Duke to the flagship 390 Adventure S.

  1. New 350cc KTM models are also expected to see a revision
  2. Larger CBU motorcycles could remain unaffected

KTM price hike: What to expect?

A Triumph dealer in Mumbai recently hinted at a similar price hike

While there has been no official communication from KTM or Bajaj on the matter, dealer sources indicate that prices could go up by around Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000, depending on the model. Although the exact reason behind the expected revision remains unclear, it could be linked to higher input and production costs.

Reports suggest that KTM’s newly introduced 350cc motorcycles will also be included in the revision. This comes shortly after a reputed Triumph dealership indicated that the company’s new 350cc motorcycles could a price increase. Prices of KTM’s larger-capacity motorcycles, brought into India as CBUs (completely built units), are expected to remain unchanged.

The 160 Duke is currently priced from Rs 1.74 lakh, while the 390 Adventure S sits at the top of the locally manufactured range at Rs 3.97 lakh.

All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
