Kawasaki recently launched the new Ninja 1100SX sport tourer to replace the 1000SX in India. The 1100 uses a bigger engine that meets the latest emission norms and gets a few other tweaks but is otherwise largely the same as the model it replaces. One crucial area where it differs from its predecessor is its relatively higher asking price, especially so after the revision of GST rates. However, if you were considering the Ninja 1100SX, there is an appealing discount now being offered by select Mumbai-based dealerships.

  1. Nearly Rs 2 lakh off the on-road price in Mumbai
  2. Ninja 1100SX is a usable yet exciting big bike in India

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX available with nearly Rs 2 lakh off

Offer applicable to MY2026 manufactured units

Anzen Kawasaki, a Mumbai-based authorised dealership, is offering a big discount on the MY2026 manufactured units of the Ninja 1100SX. The claimed on-road price before the discount is Rs 17.80 lakh. However, after the discount, it comes down to Rs 16 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). That is one of the largest discounts available on a big bike under the Rs 20 lakh mark and greatly enhances the value proposition of the Ninja 1100SX.

We must stress at this juncture that this discount is only valid at Anzen Kawasaki dealerships in Mumbai and that the exact number of units to which the discount is applicable has not been specified. It would be prudent to reach out to one of these dealerships for more clarity.

To recap, the Ninja 1100SX is one of the few conventional sport-touring machines available in the market today. Its 1,099cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor prioritises mid-range shove over outright grunt, but even so, with 136hp and 113Nm of torque available, it has the potential to be a fast machine by any stretch of the imagination. Our review found that the big Ninja is a comfortable and usable machine – even in our unforgiving riding environment – while being entertaining when you want it.
