Building up to the launch of its most premium motorcycle, Hero has released a new teaser that previews the new Mavrick 440’s design language. The teaser confirms that an H-shaped Daytime Running Lamp (a Hero hallmark now) will be present inside the round headlight, as seen in a previous instance.

    1. Engine, main frame likely to be carried over unchanged
    2. H-shaped DRL, tank extensions are unique to Mavrick
    3. Price expected to be lower than H-D X440

Though it will share much of its componentry with the X440, there will be some notable deviations as well. For starters, a spy shot of the upcoming bike emerged recently, showing that it will receive a telescopic fork in place of the Harley’s upside-down unit. This strongly suggests that the Hero machine will be priced below the X440, which is currently priced between Rs 2.40 lakh-2.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In another instance, we also saw that the Mavrick’s muffler seems to be smaller and better integrated into the bike than the one on the X440, where it's rather bulbous and isn’t the prettiest. Hero also released a teaser of the Mavrick’s exhaust note recently, featuring a faster beat with less thump and more rasp.
