Hero has just launched its first BS6-compliant scooter in the form of the updated Pleasure Plus, priced at Rs. 54,800 for the steel wheel variant and Rs 56,800 for the alloy wheel model; this is a hike of Rs 6,300 from their respective BS4 models. All prices, ex-showroom, Delhi.

While the updated Pleasure Plus uses the same 110cc engine, it now gets fuel-injection and a revised exhaust system that makes it BS6-compliant. Interestingly, while peak power and torque figures remain an identical 8.1hp and 8.7Nm, respectively, the former now comes in 500rpm earlier in the rev range, at 7,000rpm. Hero has also claimed that the new Pleasure Plus is more fuel efficient and accelerates faster by 10 percent, in comparison to the Pleasure Plus BS4.

The new Pleasure Plus is available in seven colour schemes – Matt Red, Matt Green, Matt Axis Grey, Glossy Black, Glossy Blue, Glossy White, and Glossy Red. Cosmetically, the rest of the scooter remains the same.
