2025 Yezdi Roadster Design
Updated Yezdi Roadster to be offered with six factory custom kits
The most notable updates to the new Yezdi Roadster are in its design. It now sports a chopped rear fender and a swingarm-mounted rear number plate holder, giving it a more bobber-like silhouette. This has also led to a redesigned tail-lamp and indicators. The brand has also introduced a modular split seat that allows you to add or remove the pillion seat as needed.
Yezdi will also be offering six factory custom kits with 20 accessories to choose from – including handlebars, visors, crash guards and touring gear – so you can personalise your Roadster to suit your individual style.
2025 Yezdi Roadster Engine
Updated Roadster features the Alpha2 engine
The Yezdi Roadster is powered by the brand’s Alpha2 engine – a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit that is also seen on the Yezdi Adventure, producing 29.1hp and 29.6Nm of peak torque. At first glance, it appears similar to the outgoing unit, but there are some substantial changes beneath the surface. On the Adventure, Yezdi reworked the internals, rerouted the exhaust and revised the fuel mapping, and it’s likely that similar updates have been made to the Roadster as well.
Yezdi has also revised the final drive ratio on the new Roadster by fitting a rear sprocket with two extra teeth, which should improve rideability at lower speeds.
2025 Yezdi Roadster Price
Prices start at Rs 4,000 more than the outgoing model’s base price
The new Yezdi Roadster is offered in two variants, Standard and Premium, priced between Rs 2.10 lakh and Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Standard variant comes in four colour options, while the Premium is available only in a blacked-out scheme, featuring blacked-out rims, a flat handlebar and turn indicators that double as tail-lights.
Additionally, the brand has launched the ‘Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Programme’ with the new Roadster. This warranty plan provides 4 years or 50,000 km of coverage, with options to extend the duration and include roadside assistance. Pricing details for these add-ons are yet to be announced.
