Mini India has launched the Cooper S Victory Edition in India at Rs 57.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings opened in late February, and it will be offered in limited numbers. The edition celebrates the iconic number 52 Mini Cooper that won the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. Mechanically, nothing changes. It continues with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp and 300Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic driving the front wheels. Mini claims a 0-100kph time of 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 242kph. It also gets adaptive suspension and JCW-spec sports brakes.
