The Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is priced at Rs 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and uses a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine making about 45hp and 42.6Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It weighs 176kg, has a 13-litre fuel tank, a low 735mm seat height and 150mm of ground clearance. The chassis gets an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel, suspended by a telescopic fork with 120mm travel and twin shocks with 90mm travel. Braking is via a 310mm front and 240mm rear disc, both with dual-channel ABS, while equipment includes a fully digital display with Bluetooth connectivity. Its chief rival is the recently launched Honda Rebel 500.
