1. Does the Himalayan 450 get tubeless spoke wheels as standard?
No, the Himalayan 450 doesn’t come with tubeless cross-spoke wheels as standard. However, prospective buyers can add them through the Royal Enfield configurator for Rs 11,000 at the time of purchase. Recently, Royal Enfield increased the price of the cross-spoke wheels to Rs 40,645 – a change that affects only existing customers.
2. Does the Himalayan 450 get a TFT dash?
Yes, the Himalayan 450 debuted the Tripper Dash – a first for Royal Enfield. It’s a round unit that integrates and mirrors Google Maps data. This same dash is also found on the Guerrilla 450 and Bear 650.
3. What’s the seat height of the Himalayan 450?
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 comes with an adjustable seat, offering a standard height of 825mm. This can be raised to 845mm or lowered to 805mm with the optional low seat.
4. What is the peak output of the Himalayan 450’s engine?
The Himalayan 450 debuted the 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine. It has a peak power of 40hp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
5. What is the price of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and what colour options are available?
The Himalayan 450 starts at Rs 2.85 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.98 lakh. The price difference is purely based on the colour options, and Royal Enfield offers a fairly wide palette.
