The Hero Destini 110 uses a 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine putting out 8.1hp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,750rpm. It rides on 12 inch alloy wheels and features Hero’s i3S (idle stop-start system) feature which cuts off the engine after a few seconds at a signal and restarts with a twist of the throttle and engaging the brake together.

Hero Destini 110: Acceleration

During our test, the conditions were mainly dry.

Acceleration
Hero Destini 110
0-40kph
3.83s
0-60kph
8.59s
0-80kph
18.18s

The Destini 110 offers decent performance for daily commuting. The scooter took 3.83 seconds to get to 40kph, 8.59 seconds to 60kph, and 18.18 seconds to get to 80kph. It feels in its sweet spot between 30 and 60 km/h. It can also get to highway cruising speeds but overtakes do require some planning.

Hero Destini 110: Roll-on acceleration

It offers friendly performance for city commuting.

Roll-On Acceleration
Hero Destini 110
20-50kph
4.74s
30-70kph
11.56s

The power delivery feels linear and the throttle response is gentle, making it easy for beginners as well as older users to manage. In the city, it feels smooth while cruising, but some vibrations are felt on the floorboard at higher speeds.

Hero Destini 110: Braking

The top-spec variant gets a disc brake at the front.

60-0kph Braking Test
Hero Destini 110
60-0kph
20.62m

Braking is decent for the performance it offers on this top-spec variant with a disc brake. It is not the sharpest setup but gets the job done decently well in the city. What I did notice while emergency braking and getting on both levers urgently is that it can cause the front to lock and slip.
