In Bajaj’s Pulsar NS family, the 125 is the most affordable model and it was one of the first sporty-looking 125cc commuters, before the segment saw an influx of fresh entrants. Here, we’ll break down and explain what each variant gives you and how much it costs.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 variant breakdown

Standard

Before we elaborate on what differentiates the three variants of the Pulsar NS 125, we’ll quickly recap what is common across them. The overall design and most mechanical components remain the same across all. The 124.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine makes 12hp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 7,000rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The base variant uses halogen lighting and has a digi-analogue display without Bluetooth connectivity. It is available in four colours - orange, grey, red and blue - and at Rs 92,760 is the most affordable way to purchase a Pulsar NS 125.

LED BT

Moving up to the next variant of the Pulsar NS 125, you receive additional features but no mechanical changes. This mid-spec variant comes with a fully Bluetooth-compatible digital display and uses a sharper-looking LED headlight with LED DRLs. At Rs 94,371, this variant costs less than Rs 2,000 over the base model and is available in the same four colourways.

LED BT ABS

The range-topping variant in the Pulsar NS 125 range is the only one to get single-channel ABS. This variant is also the only one to get a larger 260mm front disc brake, in comparison to the smaller 240mm unit seen on the others. You can also select different levels of intervention for the system via three dedicated ABS modes - rain, road and off-road. In addition to the blue, red and orange colours seen on the lower variants, you also get two additional colours - black and white - to choose from here.
