The classic Pulsar 180 seems like it's making a comeback. It has been spotted at a dealership floor with similar bodywork, graphics and headlight as the Pulsar 150. Here's all the things we can deduce from the images.
1. Bajaj Pulsar 180 gets similar graphics as the Pulsar 150
2. It now gets LED headlight and indicators
3. The classic Pulsar 180 was discontinued back in 2022
Pulsar 180 spotted: What’s new?
Upon launch, the Pulsar 180 will rival the TVS Apache RTR 180
The 180cc version was one of the first Pulsar models to be launched. The model was discontinued for the first time in 2019, ahead of the BS6 emission norms and was replaced by its semi-faired sibling, the 180F. Then in 2021, Bajaj reintroduced the Pulsar 180, replacing the 180F in turn. Bajaj subsequently pulled the plug on the Pulsar 180 in 2022.

Now, a Pulsar 180 model has been spotted at a dealership. It gets the same headlight, bodywork, graphics, paint-scheme and LCD dash as the updated Pulsar 150, albeit with a bigger engine. This helps the classic Pulsar range to take better on the classic two-valve Apache range. The Pulsar 180 will lock horns with the TVS Apache RTR 180, its chief-rival, when it is eventually re-launched.

While mechanical details are still under wraps, the older Pulsar 180 was powered by a 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that put out 17hp at 8,500rpm and 14.2Nm at 6,500rpm, and mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Currently, the Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh whereas the 220F is priced at Rs 1.29 lakh. Upon launch, the Pulsar 180 could slot between these two models in terms of pricing.
