Ex-showroom introductory prices of the Vinfast VF6 range between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 18.29 lakh. Meanwhile, depending on the city, on-road prices for the VF6 range between Rs 19 lakh and Rs 21.20 lakh. For reference, the VF6 is more affordable than the likes of the Creta Electric, Curvv EV and the Mahindra BE 6.

How much range does a Vinfast VF6 offer?

The VF6 comes with a 59.6kWh battery and a front-mounted electric motor. Output stands at 177hp and 250Nm in the entry-level VF6 Earth trim, while the higher-spec Wind and Wind Infinity trims generate 204hp and 310Nm. VinFast claims an ARAI-certified range of 468km for the VF6 Earth, while the other two trims return 463km.

What features does the Vinfast VF6 offer?

The VF6 is a very well-equipped crossover right from its base variant with features like full-LED lighting, acoustic windshield, a 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a powered driver’s seat, auto AC, drive and regen modes, a 360-degree camera, an electric parking brake, 7 airbags, traction control, all-wheel disc brakes, ESC and TPMS. The Wind trim adds larger 18-inch alloys, vegan leather upholstery, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, dual-zone AC, Level 2 ADAS and adaptive cruise control. A panoramic glass roof is reserved for the top Wind Infinity trim.

Does the Vinfast VF6 come with free charging option?

Yes, at the launch of the VF6 in India, Vinfast announced free charging at its official V-Green stations until July 2028 and free maintenance for 3 years to widen the EV's appeal. However, this offer is only valid for buyers who purchase the first 1,500 cars. Moreover, Vinfast is yet to officially set up its V-Green charging stations, but has plans to operate as many as 15,000 chargers within a year across the country. The VF6 also gets a 7-year/1.6 lakh km warranty while the battery pack has a 10-year/2 lakh km warranty.

What are the Vinfast VF6 colour options in India?

The VF6 is offered in six monotone colour options, namely Crimson Red, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Jet Black, Urban Mint, and Zenith Grey. These exterior colours are available across all VF6 variants. Inside, the VF6 gets an all-black finish in the Earth trim, whereas the Wind variants sport Mocha Brown interiors.

No, the VF6 is a 5-seat SUV. The front seats are comfy (and ventilated), with power adjustment for the driver’s side. Rear-seat space is decent, though not as much as others in the segment.
