F1 is back this weekend, with the Belgian GP at the fan-favourite Spa Francorchamps Circuit. Just eight points separate championship leader Oscar Piastri from his McLaren teammate Lando Norris. So, will we see the championship lead change hands this time around?

2025 F1 Belgian GP schedule
F1’s Sprint format makes its third appearance this season. This means just one practice session will be held on Friday, followed by Sprint Qualifying. The Sprint race and Qualifying for the main race will take place on Saturday, and the Grand Prix itself will be on Sunday as always. The weather forecast shows that rain could be on the cards, making car setup all the more challenging.
This will be Red Bull Racing’s first-ever race without Christian Horner at the helm. In a surprise move, Horner was sacked earlier this month and former Racing Bulls team principal Laurent Mekies took over his duties.
As for the main championship battle, Norris will be looking to clinch a third straight win. Following back-to-back wins at Austria and Silverstone, he’s now just eight points behind Piastri in the standings.

2025 F2 Belgian GP schedule
The F2 championship also returns to action. The title fight remains close, with Richard Verschoor leading by just six points from Jak Crawford. In fact, after this weekend, any of the top five drivers could take the championship lead if they triumph at Spa.
India’s Kush Maini is currently P12 overall. He will be chasing some valuable points to gain ground before the summer break.

2025 Formula E London E Prix schedule
London will be the last stop for the 2025 Formula E season. Oliver Rowland already sealed the title at the Berlin E Prix, but the battle is very much on for the teams’ championship. Porsche currently leads the way, 23 points ahead of Nissan.
Mahindra is also chasing a spot in the top five. On the back of a resurgent season, the Indian team is currently P6 in the standings, just 1 point behind McLaren (P5) and 20 points behind Jaguar (P4).
