Bentley Motors has now been brought into the fold of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL). The British luxury carmaker was previously managed by Delhi-based private importer and seller Exclusive Motors, but as of July 1, 2025, Bentley India will be an offshoot of the broader Volkswagen Group.

Bentley integrated into Skoda VW India group
Bentley is the sixth brand under SAVWIPL.
SAVWIPL manages five brands in India: Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini. Bentley is the latest addition to the group, for which SAVWIPL will exclusively handle import, sales, marketing, distribution and servicing nationwide, under a new corporate entity dubbed Bentley India.
Former VW Group marketing head to helm Bentley India
To oversee Bentley India, SAVWIPL had appointed Abbey Thomas as the division’s brand director back in December 2024. Thomas was previously the head of marketing of the Passenger Car division of the broader Volkswagen Group, and his appointment signifies a stronger focus from Bentley on India’s growing ultra high-end luxury car market. In 2023, Bentley was estimated to have sold 70-80 cars in India, most of which were the Bentayga SUV.
Three Bentley India dealer partners confirmed.
Alongside bringing Thomas on board, Bentley India will work with three dealer partners for showrooms in key cities; initially Bangalore and Mumbai, followed by New Delhi. The luxury carmaker is also expected to announce India prices for the new Flying Spur and Continental GT sometime this year.
