The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variants of the Tekton are cheaper, but make less power and don't offer an automatic option. If your usage is primarily in the city and you don't mind the manual gearbox, you can go for the 1.0 turbo MT. Enthusiast buyers should prefer the stronger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol Tekton, but it will yield lower fuel efficiency.

The Tekton MT will be cheaper to buy up front and easier to maintain, but not as convenient to drive as the DCT, especially in traffic jams. Therefore, if your budget allows, go for the Tekton DCT.

The Tekton's 518-litre boot space is matched with that of the Duster, and is the highest in the midsize SUV segment.
